MENA Organization for Rare Diseases participation at the 3rd MENA Metabolic & Genetic Conference

MENA Organization for Rare Diseases supports rare diseases in the in the region of Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Spreading knowledge and increasing awareness are major goals for the organization that can be achieved by supporting scientific conferences focusing on rare diseases in the region.

 

MENA Organization for Rare Diseases has participated in the 3rd MENA Metabolic & Genetic Conference that was held between 4 and 6 May 2023 in Muscat, Oman. MENA Organization for Rare Diseases was a strategic partner supporting the MENA Metabolic & Genetic Conference by sharing knowledge and experience related to rare genetic diseases in the MENA region. The organization also had a booth in the exhibition area which allowed the organization’s team to communicate directly with the attendees. In addition, Professor Ayman El-Hattab, Founder and President of the MENA Organization for Rare Diseases, gave a presentation about rare diseases when he highlighted the challenges faced in the field of rare diseases in our regions and discussed recommendations to improve the care and advance research for rare diseases. Professor El-Hattab has received certificate of appreciation to honor the valuable contribution in the meeting.   

 

The 3rd Annual MENA Metabolic and Genetic Conference was a comprehensive event with symposiums, medical exhibitions, and workshops, that aimed to discuss the most up-to-date scientific discoveries and practices in the field of metabolic and genetics aiming to advance medical knowledge and patient care in the genetic and metabolic specialties.
