MENA Organization for Rare Diseases has participated at the PrecisionMed Exhibition and Sumit (PMES) as knowledge Partner and exhibitor. PMES was held in Dubai World Trade Centre from 23 to 24 May 2023.

Being a Knowledge Partner, MENA Organization for Rare Diseases supported the PMES by sharing knowledge and experience related to rare genetic diseases in the MENA region. The organization also had a booth in the exhibition area which allowed the organization’s team to communicate directly with the attendees and other exhibitors. The PMES gave a unique opportunity for MENA Organization for Rare Diseases to present its activities related to education and spreading knowledge about rare diseases, connect with healthcare providers, companies, and other organizations to exchange knowledge and experience, and learn the recent updates in the field of precision medicine. 

The PMES was a very successful 2-day conference during which leading speakers discussed applications of precision medicine, genome-based systems, and the movement toward customized healthcare aiming for tackling disease and benefiting patients. The conference was well-attending with more than 5000 visitors.

MENA Organization for Rare Diseases serves and supports people with rare diseases in the region of Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The goals of MENA Organization for Rare Diseases are to educate and spread knowledge about rare diseases, connect patients and doctors to exchange knowledge and experience, and support people with rare diseases. MENA Organization for Rare Diseases has been participating in many regional conferences including the International Conference for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (ICAN) that was held in Dubai from 28 to 30 April 2023 and the 3rd MENA Metabolic & Genetic Conference that was held between 4 and 6 May 2023 in Muscat, Oman.
