MENA Organization for Rare diseases in AccessAbilities Expo 2023

MENA Organization for Rare diseases will participate as partner and exhibitor at the AccessAbilities Expo that will be held in Dubai World Trade Center from 9 to 11 October.

 

AccessAbilities Expo is the largest event for people of determination in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia region. AccessAbilities Expo is the region’s leading platform to showcase the latest global innovations that can benefit people of determination to live more productive, independent, and fulfilling lives. Apart from a wide-ranging selection of the latest products, services, and ideas from across the globe, AccessAbilities Expo features dedicated platforms for the whole community to come together, including disability sports, medical services, arts and crafts, conferences and seminars, daily raffles, workplace inclusion, advanced technology platforms, and social events.

 

AccessAbilities Expo is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group. AccessAbilities Expo will be supported by more than 150 entities focusing on people of determination which will participate in the exhibition.  

 

MENA Organization for Rare Diseases will participate in the exhibition (booth 205) aiming to communicate directly with attendees and other exhibitors. This participation will allow direct communication with the attendees to listen to the stories and needs of people of determination and present the services that the organization provides to support people of determination and rare diseases. Communication with other exhibitors will allow for exchanging knowledge and experience and establishing collaborations aiming to improve services provided for people with people of determination and rare diseases.  

 

MENA Organization for Rare Diseases was established in Dubai to serve and support people with rare diseases in the MENA region. The organization’s goals are to educate, connect, and support. Education and increasing awareness about rare diseases among healthcare providers, patients and their families, and the public can be achieved through scientific conferences, family meetings, social activities, and online tools. MENA Organization for Rare Diseases Annual Meeting, the largest event for rare diseases in the region, takes place yearly in February or March. Connecting people to exchange knowledge about rare diseases is achieved by establishing patient support groups and networks for healthcare providers. Supporting individuals with rare diseases is accomplished through helping patients receiving services from healthcare institutions and community services.
